Publishing is free and always will be — a receipt nobody can share proves nothing. You pay for permanence and identity: the things that matter when a receipt has to hold up months later.
Paid plans are not live yet. The Free plan works today. Pro and Studio are in onboarding with our payment provider and will open shortly — the prices below are final and will not change at launch.

What you are actually paying for
Every receipt Cothenticity issues is written into an append-only ledger at the moment it is published — a record that cannot be edited or deleted, by us or by anyone else, and that is hash-chained so tampering is detectable rather than merely forbidden.
On the Free plan a receipt's history is kept for 30 days. On a paid plan it is permanent. That difference is the product: a receipt is only worth having if it is still there, and still verifiable, when somebody finally asks.
Billing

| VAT | Sam Squared Softwares (Pty) Ltd is not currently a VAT vendor, so prices are not subject to South African VAT. If that changes, prices shown will include VAT and existing subscribers will be notified before their next renewal. |
| Billing cycle | Monthly or annual, charged in advance from the date you subscribe. |
| Changing plan | Upgrade any time — charged pro-rata. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. |
| Cancelling | Any time, from your account. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. |
| Failed payments | We retry, and email you before any change to your plan. Receipts already published stay published. |
If you stop paying
Your published receipts do not disappear. They remain live and verifiable. What changes is your account: you return to Free plan limits for new receipts, and the extended history and export features stop being available until you subscribe again.
This is deliberate. People who relied on a receipt you shared should not lose the ability to verify it because of a billing event between you and us.
